We're excited to introduce a couple new True North team members!

Jennifer Moon

We are excited to have Jennifer join us as our new Office Manager. Jennifer grew up in Okotoks and still lives here with her husband and two kids. She spent the last seven years with the Wood Automotive Group, where she was the Office Administrator, and brings great experience in customer service and accounting.

Karalee Severson

Karalee joins our team from Accuity CPAs in Nanton, bringing great experience in small business bookkeeping and taxes. Originally from Saskatchewan, Karalee has lived in the Okotoks area for a decade and is happy to be working closer to home. Music keeps her going during the day and she absolutely loves dogs.

Karbon will improve customer experience

We are excited to launch a new checklist software that will make the year end process much more clear and simple for our clients. If your year end is approaching, expect to see an invitation to the Karbon portal, where you will see a customized checklist for you. You will just need to enter a PIN #, and then you will be able to answer questions and upload files right there! This is a way for both of us to have more clarity into what's been delivered and and the status of your year end.

Get a free tree from the City!

We just got this tree planted at our house in Calgary- for free! Check with your community to get details on the tree program in your neighborhood. This tree program is funded by developers - every time a tree is removed for construction purposes, the developers pay for a new tree to be planted in the area. It did take almost a year, but we are very happy with our little elm, and its healthy. Call 3-1-1 and get your request in before tree planting season is over.  

Inspired Albertan: Jordan Remple, Impact Society

Jordan Remple has worked with teens struggling with substance abuse for over a decade. Working with these youth, it became apparent that many of the significant life events that led these kids down the road of addiction occurred prior to age 14. This 10-14 year old age group is where the Impact Society works to be positive influence. Their HEROES program helps youths make good choices and live with character and integrity. Jordan was CTV's Inspired Albertan of the week for his work with this life changing program. See more here.
