December is a great time to tackle some last minute tax planning opportunities that could save you money this tax season. Here's our blog post from last year that outlines a few things to do before January sneaks up.

Five fun holiday to do's 

1. See lights! In Calgary, there's Zoo Lights and the Lion's Festival of Lights in Confederation Park. Lighten Up Calgary is a crowd-sourced map of the best light displays around Calgary.

3. Go sledding. Savvy Mom's list of 8 Great Toboggan Hills in Calgary includes St. Andrew's Park, Confederation Park and Signal Hill. If you're sledding in a City park, make sure your hill is City sanctioned (maintained and hazard-free). 

3. If you have a lot on your plate but want to honour your inner Clark Griswold, check out Assiniboine Lights. They will put up your lights, and take them down.
